This is Jackie Yuki. He is the future son of Jaden Yuki and Alexis Rhodes. They meet him when he travels back in time because of a freak wormhole accident. (Explanation? What do I need that for?) He acts just like Judai and inherited Winged Kuriboh from him. Despite his skills, he chose to be in Osiris, because all the people in Obelisk were mean and snobby. (Remember kids, if someone is of higher rank, that automatically makes them an asshole.)
Everyone loves Jackie and is his best friend. They support his dream of becoming the next King of Games just like his father did. However, his teacher, Mr. Princeton (le GASP) doesn't like him for reasons unknown. Jackie is still nice to him in return.
Jackie tends to use Jaden's catchphrase and trademark pose every chance he gets. Lots of girls (and some guys) like him, but he's utterly oblivious to it.
Betcha' can't guess who Mr. Princeton is!
Before I get killed, I'd like to state two things:
One, just because your offspring OC looks like a clone of either parent, that doesn't make them a Gary Stu or Mary Sue. Acting
like a clone of either parent makes them a Gary Stu or Mary Sue. (You lose extra points if they act like a perfect
clone.) I have seen some look-alike offspring OC's that are actually credible in personality traits and back-story. So, I forgive the clone looks. Besides, it is common to look a lot like one's parent. (It'd be odd if you didn't.) However, my concern is why one would intentionally style their hair to look just like that of their parents'... (Jackie here is an exception from that. His hair is a combo.)
Two, this was not a bash at Fianceshipping. I happen to like that pairing, thank you very much. (I just haven't drawn it because I feel it gets enough attention from the fandom. I'm more focused on neglected pairings.)
One more thing in reguards to Jackie's back-story...why would Manjoume become a teacher? Just...why? He never indicated that's what he was aiming to do. He doesn't seem like the type. Why
I know what some of you are gonna say, "What about Michiru, Ryuzo, and Amiko? Aren't they Sue's?" No. They aren't. Sure, all OC's have some Mary Sue/Gary Stu traits to them, but mine are not full out ones. Here's why:
1.) The only traits Michiru has in common with Judai is being oblivious to romantic feelings aimed at her (though, she seems to be able to detect it when it's aimed at others), preferring to make friends rather than enemies (mostly because Judai raised her that way; she is shown to have breaking points as shown by her outward dislike of Ren and grudge against Seinosuke), and being able to eat a lot (but that's really just with pizza). She otherwise is not a clone of him in personality. (Besides, she goes out of her way to make sure she's never late as often as he is. She finds it too embarrassing.)
2.) Michiru at no point is ever in Osiris. Ryuzo and Amiko are not portrayed as the only nice people in Obelisk. Plenty of others are shown to be nice too.)
3.) None of them are aiming to be the next King of Games. Amiko wants to be a chef, Ryuzo just wants to be a professional duelist, and Michiru has no idea what she wants to do yet.
4.) They all have lost quite a few duels before. (And not by default. Default losses don't count.)
5.) Michiru and Ryuzo never use their parents' catchphrases or any form of them.
6.) None of them have inherited any special cards from their parents. They have decks of their own. (Deck themes are still in pending.)
7.) Michiru is not the reincarnation of anything, let alone something related to Haou. She is actually a living carrying case for an intergalactic weapon simply called the Orb, which does her and everyone else more harm than good. (The Orb doing something good period
is a rarity. It is
meant as a weapon, after all.) She ahs little to no control over it, and all it ever does is destroy things when she's driven to a mental breakdown. The Orb is not a living thing, so it is not her alter ego in anyway. It is hooked up to her soul and acts on her emotions and what she subconsciously wants. Also, over usage in one sitting could kill her.
