Because people liked the first one [link]
and because making parody Mary Sue's is fun!
This is River Tears. She was a hideous child, so her parents committed suicide, because they couldn't stand to look at her. She was left on the streets and was eventually taken in by a blind woman. River grew up beautiful and attracted many guys, but turned them dwon out of guilt of her former ugliness, which caused her parents such misery. She resorted to cutting, but hid the scars with her stockings and gloves.
She enrolled in Duel Academy and fell in love with Chazz Princeton, who was just as dark and tormented on the inside as her. But sadly, he was in love with the preppy snob, Alexis Rhodes, despite that she was already dating Jaden Yuki. Alexis often took advantage of Chazz's feelings, just to get him to do things for her.
This made River sad, so she started cutting again. But she cut herself so bad, she nearly bled to death. Chazz saved her by wrapping towels around her wounds and performing CPR. (Because that would totally work, right?) He cheered her up by telling her about how he used to cut himself, because his brothers abused him. River told him about her parents and he gave her a hug.
From that day on, Chazz helped River cope with her depression. River got more confident and decided to do something that should've been done a long time ago. She stormed in on Alexis's cheerleading practice and told her off. But Alexis beat her up with her pom-poms in retort. Luckily, Chazz saw this and stopped her. He told Alexis what a fugly bitch she is and that he loved River more.
So, they lived happily ever after, while Jaden also realized what a bitch Alexis is and dumped her for Syrus. (Yaoi, FTW!)
...okay, I'm done now, On to being serious.
This is a combo of two types of Sue's that REALLY annoy me; a Dub Sue and an Emo Sue. Emo Sue's try to say that they're Gothic, but you know the truth.
BTW, I hate it when people think Manjoume is some sort of "dark, tormented soul". Yeah, he obviously has issues, but "dark and tormented"? I just can't see it. While on the subject, I don't think his brothers abused him physically
. Mentally and emotionally, yes. Physically? I really doubt that. The most we saw was Shoji grab him by the collar of his shirt, but other than that, nothing that alluded to past hitting. Hell, the grabbing his shirt collar just seemed like a typical "I'm really pissed at you, now pay attention!" type of thing. I don't think his brothers are that
evil. (If something that serious were going on, we probably would've gotten a flashback or a line of dialogue about it. It's not one of those plotlines you just ignore like the elephant in the room.) I mean, haven't we already seen that they pressure him too much? I think that really just signifies mental abuse on some level.
Also, Asuka doesn't exactly seem like the "preppy" type to me, let alone "cheerleader".
Another thing, I hate it when people say Asuka takes advantage of Manjoume's crush on her. Dude? Asuka doesn't even like
it when guys have crushes on her. Why would she take advantage of it? That's just OOC and beyond. She's not conniving.
So, yeah. Turns out, 90% of Mary Sue's are out to make sure the canon female characters wind up single and miserable...much like their creators. XD Oh!
Yeah, I went there!
XD That is the best Rei chibi I have ever drawn...
